Matthew is the visionary behind Students on Tour NZ. With a backpack full of stories, Matthew is not just the director, but a seasoned teacher and traveler who is passionate about showing off the best of what NZ has to offer. Matthew is born and bred in New Zealand and has a passion for showing off our amazing country. Matthew has an understanding of the challenges or the issues that young international students are faced with. Matthew is highly experienced with having already led North and South Island international student trip as well as numerous overseas and national school sports and educational trips. It was this passion for both teaching and travel that led Matthew to found Students on Tour NZ. His goal is to provide memorable and educational opportunities for international students in NZ whilst making new friends along the way. During a normal working week Matthew can be found in the classroom, sports field or scrolling through travel sites because for Matthew, travel is a way of life, and one he’s grateful to share with students around the world. Matthew is a father of two boys who are currently 11 and 14 years old. Students on Tour NZ isn’t just a travel company, it's a community of adventurers, dreamers, and lifelong learners.
