Raewyn Beattie

Tour Guide

With extensive experience in school and education, Raewyn is a highly valued member of the Students on Tour NZ team. She was a manager for various school sports teams for 15 years, a school sports coordinator for 11 years as well as running her own dance school for 30 years and being a school bus driver. 

Friendly and approachable, Raewyn is a mother-figure who can be relied on. Her kindness is felt by both students and staff members and she is excellent at making you feel safe and at ease. She is a skilled communicator and fun to be around.

Recently, Raewyn joined the Southern Lakes Fire Brigade and First Response Unit and is proud to be able to help the community and people when they are in need.

Her interests including mountain biking and sewing, as well as dog obedience (where she recently gained NZ CGC Certificate with a dog she bred) and she loves being outdoors in the NZ bush.
